Direct Cremation

Direct Cremation is a popular choice offered by Northern Beaches Funerals, with a total cost of around $2,917.

Also known as No Service No Attendance Cremation it is a very simple and low cost way to make a dignified funeral arrangement for your loved one.

The basis of a Direct Cremation is that the deceased is taken directly from the place of death to the crematorium, where the legal paperwork is completed before their body is placed into a simple coffin for cremation. Usually no family or friends attending.

After cremation, we will personally deliver the ashes to you within 2 weeks.

Often a Memorial Service is held at a later date, possibly to scatter the ashes or just as a service of remembrance and celebration of life.

The Memorial Service is often conducted by a funeral celebrant but some families choose something as simple as a family lunch or picnic to honour their loved one and to acknowledge their passing.
